What will you be doing?
In this challenging and international role you get the chance to get the most out of our products. As a product manager you are responsible for the development of existing and new products. In this job you ensure that our products meet customer needs that can further enhance the success of Aviko. For the "out of home" market you prepare a product policy for certain product groups, but sometimes also for home use. You collect information about the product group such as: customer insights, features & benefits and kitchen applications. Besides that, you analyze trends and make proposals for cost price reduction, profit improvements and remediation. It is important that you monitor the cost price and quality standards. In addition to these proceedings, you also have your own projects as a project manager, besides to a number of activities suggested by customers. You are often in contact with the international colleagues from, among others, commerce, innovation & product development and the marketing team. For this function you regularly travel to our production locations, which are mainly located in the Netherlands.
What do you have to offer?
You are a initiator by nature, partly pragmatic and result-oriented. Creativity, numerically strong, passion and "out of the box" thinking are things that suits you. You have a bachelor degree in food technology, food design and/or marketing and you are analytically strong. You get inspired when you can solve a problem or discover the limits of new possibilities. Beside that we ask:
- The minimum of 3 years work experience in a comparable environment
- Knowing of market and customer needs
- A team player
- Excellent command of the English and German language, the knowledge of the French language is desirable

Where are you going to work?
You will be part of our marketing department. This department consists of a team of 14 colleagues. The marketing department represents the global brand image and is responsible for increasing market penetration in various market segments, 75% of which are Foodservice related. You will report to the marketing director.
