Let me admit straight away: I am passionate about potatoes. So I love coming to work every day. I have a very diverse job with various customers because Aviko focuses on different fresh-food segments. I service recreation and attraction parks, caterers, wholesalers, hotel and restaurant chains, as well as the industry as a whole. It doesn't get any more diverse than this. As a key account manager, I often formulate tenders as well. At Aviko, we don't necessarily focus so much on price as on delivering an added value. Our product portfolio allows our customers to generate a better turnover. A nice example of this is Churros, a type of doughnut that can be served as dessert or with coffee. That way, we create various eating moments in a day with a single Aviko product. And what do you say about Oerfriet French fries? An authentic, traditional Dutch product that can really set entrepreneurs apart. That's what we do it for.
For me personally, sales at Aviko means running a business in a business. I get all the room to use all my creativity. I unwrap my creativity at home through product demonstrations and cooking classes... In fact, I am originally a chef. What can I say, you either have a passion or you don't.
